Marked David-Andersen; founded in Christiana (now Oslo), Norway in 1876 by David Andersen (1843-1901) a successful gold and silversmith. Upon Andersen’s death, his son Arthur took over and changed the family name to David-Andersen. It was Arthur who introduced the enameling process to the company’s gold and silver jewelry and holloware. This complete set of gilt silver and pink enamel retains its original presentation box.
